hmm, i'd say always draw BIG, keep that canvas huge so when you crunch it down it makes your lines look nice and focused. i usually make my canvas about 2800 X 3000 or so, and i take off aliasing on the brush and turn it into a pencil so the breaks are clean. Give it a shot!
